Drawings of Animals

I studied at Birmingham College of Art, graduating with an honours
degree and began my career in London, working as Art Editor for
a privately owned magazine group. When I moved to Sussex to freelance
in Illustration, I had a wide portfolio of varied subjects, but
my love of animals led increasingly to my being commissioned for
drawings of all species.
From jungle to farmyard and domestic, as well as British Wildlife
and I was delighted to find myself specialising as an Animal Artist.
I formed my own business after I bought an old printing press. Eager to try
it out, I drew a cat and a dog and began printing my drawings on Greeting
Cards. I soon decided to print onto cork backed Coasters which I also print
in house. Since then the Lobban Collection gift range has extended to include
my drawings of cats, dogs and other animals on T-shirts, mousemats and bone
china mugs.
I now live and work in South Wales and I still print the cards and coasters
from my home. This ensures the highest quality as I can take the time and
care so that my products and art are reproduced to the highest standard.
This allows me to carry the wide range of over 70 breeds of dogs, as well
as cats
and wildlife. I continue to produce studies of the more unusual breeds of
dogs and add to The Lobban Collection of Animal Art.
